Tom brings an eclectic mix of experience to his role as a consistent top agent and VP of Marketing at The Marchant Company. A 1992 graduate of Clemson University, he spent eight years as a top sales producer within the luxury hotel industry before moving into radio sales/strategy. His tenure with The Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts provides him significant insight into high-end client service and expectations, while time with Cox Media Group developed his creative use of marketing strategy. What’s more, Tom has lived in cities of varied sizes — spending many of his formative years in Tampa, then working in Atlanta for nearly a decade before returning to his hometown – so he combines a cosmopolitan perspective with an appreciation of all things local.
Thus, Tom has become Greenville’s go-to Realtor for fine homes and properties. He is a professional who understands the psychology of top-tier properties and utilizes inventive know-how to market them. He connects comfortably with clients, whether long-time locals or prospective transplants.
Tom is a city-dweller – he and his wife, Gidge, live in the Augusta Road Area with their two teens – but he’s spent a lifetime of weekends and holidays with his family atop Caesar’s Head. So he is at home, literally as well as figuratively, in both the bustle of Downtown Greenville and the beauty of the Carolina mountains, and these places have become his professional niche.

Away from the office, Tom is a member of First Presbyterian Church Greenville where he serves as Deacon, leads a youth high school small group and participates in programs such as the men’s ministry and prayer ministry. He and Gidge belong to the PTAs and SICs at their children’s schools while also mentoring a student at Hollis Academy.
Tom is president of the Caesars Head Community Center and is active in organizations ranging from Greenville Chamber to Home Builders Association to Greater Greenville Association of Realtors.
